Dear SRS Parent/Guardian’s,

     It is great to see your children and have them back in school with us here at Sea Road School (SRS).  It has been an extremely positive beginning to this new school-year.  We are writing this letter to inform you that we have been meeting with each classroom about our district and school core values, SRS expected behaviors for each setting (i.e. classroom, lunch, playground, busses, hallways, etc), and how we all can be safe, respectful and responsible. We encourage you to review the Sea Road School Handbook with your child which includes school wide expectations and other information.      We look forward to partnering with you again this school-year.  We are sure that we may encounter some “bumps in the road” which is part of being a child and an adult.  We continue to look at these incidents as opportunities to educate children, hold them accountable for their behavior and to participate in restorative practices which are healthy for all.  Ken and I are always available to speak with you about any questions you may have and understand the importance of communications with you as we work together throughout the school year to provide a safe, healthy and rich education for your child/children.
